Order Builder / Shipping Associate

Position Summary

The Order Builder / Shipper builds customer orders from product staged by the pickers, assembles and wraps pallets, and completes the shipping paperwork. This role keeps orders accurate, secure, and ready for carrier pickup on time.

Responsibilities

• Build customer orders using the product pulled by the pickers, checking it against the pick list or order for accuracy.

• Assemble pallets so loads are stable, balanced, and sized properly for transport.

• Stretch-wrap and secure pallets to prevent shifting or damage.

• Label pallets according to order and carrier requirements.

• Complete shipping paperwork, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels.

• Report shortages, overages, or damaged product to a supervisor.

• Use a forklift to move, stage, and load pallets safely.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or order-building role.

• Experience as a forklift driver required.

• Bilingual English/ Spanish

• Ability to build and wrap pallets correctly and efficiently.

• Basic computer and paperwork skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to read and follow pick tickets, orders, and shipping documents.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work the morning shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS).

• Familiarity with LTL/freight shipping documents.
