Job Title: Welder – Metal Manufacturing

Location: Provo, Utah
Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Overtime: Possible depending on workload and production demands

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our metal manufacturing team. This role is responsible for welding metal components used in the production of metal shooting ranges. The ideal candidate has welding experience, can read blueprints and production instructions, and takes pride in producing strong, high-quality welds while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on metal components using MIG, TIG, or other applicable welding processes

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production instructions

• Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure and other measuring tools

• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as required

• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy

• Grind, finish, and repair welds as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Maintain welding equipment and a clean work area

• Meet production deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred

• Ability to read and follow blueprints and production instructions is required

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure is required

• Experience with MIG welding preferred (TIG a plus, depending on needs)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed

• Strong focus on safety

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility producing metal shooting ranges

• Exposure to welding equipment, heat, noise, and metal materials

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required
