Fulfillment Team Lead

Reports To: Fulfillment Supervisor

Position Summary

The Fulfillment Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within an assigned fulfillment team, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and attendance standards are consistently met. This role serves as the primary point of contact for fulfillment associates, providing coaching, training, and support while driving operational efficiency and maintaining a positive team environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and support a team of fulfillment associates.

• Provide daily direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

• Assist with training new employees on company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.

• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and performance.

Operations & Productivity

• Ensure daily production goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.

• Monitor workflow

• Identify and communicate productivity challenges and recommend solutions.

• Assist with client communication, inventory movement, order fulfillment, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping activities as needed.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor quality standards and address errors or process deviations.

• Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure operational excellence.

Communication

• Serve as a liaison between associates and management.

• Communicate daily goals, operational updates, and performance expectations to the team.

• Escalate employee concerns, equipment issues, and operational challenges to management promptly.

• Participate in shift meetings and provide updates on team performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fulfillment center, warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.

• Bilingual English/ Spanish Required.

• Ability to motivate and develop team members.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
