Mixing Technician

Position Summary:

Join our nutraceutical production team as a Mixing Technician. You’ll be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing raw materials and formulas to produce high-quality dietary supplement products in a GMP-compliant facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients to batch recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Operate and monitor mixing equipment (e.g., mixers, blenders, pumps) safely and efficiently.

• Read and follow batch records, labels, and production paperwork accurately.

• Perform in-process checks (weights, volumes, temperatures, timings) and record data.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area; perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies.

• Report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.

• Assist with inventory checks and receiving of raw materials as needed.

• Support quality control checks and cooperate with audits/inspections.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English - Spanish)

• Strong basic math skills (able to perform weights, volumes, percentages, unit conversions).

• Attention to detail, and reliability.

• Preferably 1+ years experience in mixing/production, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing, but willing to train the right candidate.

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment (temperature/noise variations).

• Comfortable following SOPs and recording accurate data.
  

Preferred:

• Familiarity with GMP and batch record practices.

• Experience operating industrial mixers/blenders and basic mechanical aptitude.
